The music in Chapter 9 is the Burial Sentences by William Croft. It was sung at Nelson’s funeral and every state funeral since including that of Diana Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey in 1997. St Paul’s Organ
The organ music in Chapter 5 is by Felix Mendelssohn who regularly gave recitals at St Paul’s and was a favourite of Queen Victoria. The work features on a CD of St Paul’s organ from the Cathedral shop
